Vrede en Lust is looking for a dynamic new WINEMAKER to take over winemaking at the state of the art winery in Simondium.
The successful applicant will need the following key attributes:
Highly motivated, ambitious, team player
• Solid leadership skills
• Track record in making high quality red and white wines
• As much passion for the vineyard as for making great wines
• Commercial approach to cellar management
• Hard working and highly disciplined
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Open minded and customer orientated in approach
• Degree or similar qualification in Viticulture and Oenology
• Some overseas wine making experience a plus
• Experience with Ezywine would be a plus ·
• Experience with bottling and labeling lines a plus
