PAARL GRAVURE is a dynamic printing establishment specialising in the printing and finishing of high quality magazines, brochures and similar printed matter. We currently require the services of and have a vacancy for an:
ELECTRICAL FOREMAN
Responsibilities include:
operational planning of the department;
maintenance, repairs, modifications and installations;
management of personnel in department;
management of information for department;
maintaining safety standards and systems according to the requirements of the occupational Health and Safety Act;
liaise with external contractors and suppliers.
The ideal candidate should have:
Completed N6/T4 electrical/electronic qualification;
not less than five years supervisory experience in electronics, PLC's, drives, instrumentation and factory maintenance which should include high, medium and low voltage electrical reticulation.;
This experience should preferably have been gained in a FMCG production environment.
Sound people and communication skills;
Technically strong in knowledge and faultfinding;
Goal driven;
Accurate, and systematic;
Able to work under pressure;
Computer literate, with specific emphasis on maintenance systems and the range of MS-Office software packages.
