Requirements
•at least a recognised 3 year qualification (REQV 13)
• 3 years’ minimum teaching experience
• high level of proficiency in Xhosa and at least one other official language of the Western Cape
Duties
• provide learning support in mainstream schools
• facilitate the development of support mechanisms for LSEN, with the focus on literacy and numeracy
Recommendations
• qualification in specialised education
