Paarl Post is a dynamic printing company which specialises in printing and finishing of high quality community newspapers and similar commercial printing.

Wage Clerk
Paarl

We are currently recruiting a person with the applicable qualifications and similar training and experience for the position of a Wage Clerk.

The responsibilities are as follows:
• Maintenance r.e. wage administration of ± 80 employees
• Handling and co-ordinating of all relevant activities in the wage office
• Benefit administration
• Preparation of management information

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, experience and knowledge:

• A minimum qualification of Matric with mathematics and accountancy
• A flair for accountancy, strong administrative orientation with the ability to work independently and do problem solving
.• Minimum of 3 years’ hands on experience in wage and salary administration
• Computer literacy (MS Office, Time Keeper, Dynamique or similar)
• Previous experience in reconciliation of control accounts relating to the payroll.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with specific reference to telephone etiquette and writing skills
• Must be able to work in a team
• Sober working habits, good time management and the willingness to work under pressure to ensure the payroll and other related activities are done timeously.
• Must be accurate and systematic

The company offers a market related remuneration package. Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged persons in accordance with the employment equity policy of the group.
