A well-established, vertical worsted company situated in Worcester, in the heart of the winelands, an hour's drive from Cape Town, seeks to fill the following positions:
WEAVING TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT
Reporting to the Weaving Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the correct settings & maintenance of preparation & weaving machines. He will direct a maintenance team to optimise efficiencies and quality
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in same or similar environment
Grade 12 (maths/science)
Relevant Technical Qualification (N3)
Knowledge of Rapier & Projectile weaving looms essential

SPINNING TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT
Reporting to the Spinning Mill Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the correct settings & maintenance of spinning machines. He will direct a maintenance team to optimise efficiencies and quality.
This position requires sound technical knowledge of the worsted yarn manufacturing process.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in same or similar environment
Grade 12 (maths/science)
Relevant Technical Qualification (N3), Textile Technology Diploma an advantage
Knowledge of Spinning machinery and technical settings essential
Statutory requirements
ARTISAN: FITTER & TURNER
The incumbent would be responsible & accountable for the installation, repair, maintenance of all dyehouse & finishing equipment
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in textile wet processing
Grade 12 (maths/science)
Relevant Technical Qualification (NTC3)
