/SECRETARY

The Parish of Ascension is awaiting
applications for the above position.

This is due to extensive work that is going to be generated within the Parish of Ascension,
due to the appointment
of Fr. Magerman as Archdeacon of Paarl.

The Parish is keen on appointing a
Personal Assistant/Secretary
Directly responsible to the Rector

Requirements:

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and at least two years’ relevant experience.
• Practical experience related to office administration or management.
• Writing skills and the ability to take minutes during meetings.
• The ability to arrange functions and other related matters.
• Excellent client service relations
• The ability to work independently.
• Sound interpersonal skills.
• The ability to function effectively under pressure.
• Computer literacy.
• The integrity to handle confidential information & correspondence.
• To be trustworthy.
• To be an Anglican of Good Standing.
• Be able to start working mid-January 2007.

Salary: Negotiable
