SATCHWELL CONTROLS in PAARL is the leading manufacturer of Heating Elements, Thermostats and Controls in South Africa. The following permanent position is available: Senior HR Officer - PAARL:
Duties and responsibilities include:
Recruitment and Selection: Assist with recruitment of personnel and attend to all administrative matters relative to their appointment
Training and Development: Implement and control training programmes; compile Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Reports.
Employment Equity: Responsible for the Employment Equity Reports; maintain a database of manpower statistics and logistic information
Liaise with external associates, bodies and service providers
Ensuring compliance with all legislation
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the effectiveness of communication in the company.
Assist in all matters regarding trade union interaction and communication
Responsible for monthly personnel reports
Handle grievances and assist in disciplinary hearings
Assist with EAP programmes
Requirements:
Minimum a Human Resources Management Diploma (3 years) Computer Literate Two (2) to three (3) years experience Exceptional negotiations, conflict resolution, interpersonal and communication skills It is essential that the basic values like honesty, accountability, respect, trust and willingness to grow to empower yourself will form part of the portfolio of the applicant. You must enjoy good health, be bright, energetic and enjoy a fast-paced work environment; be able to show that you have the hands-on passion for work, the awareness, positive attitude and eagerness to learn and to work independently.
