TECHNICAL/ENGINEERING BUYER - PAARL:
Additional to the purchasing function the successful candidate must be able to capture data and to process graphs.
Procure consumable, maintenance and engineering material locally and internationally.
Source new suppliers
Planning and maintaining stock levels
Requirements:
Purchasing Qualification
Excel/Lotus
5 Years buying experience
Code 8 drivers license
Knowledge of shipping will be an added advantage
Financial Support Officer
Key Performance Areas
This person will be responsible for costing and processing of Import invoices and all relevant shipping documents. Control part of the Creditors Ledger reconciliations and queries. Capturing of Indirect Receipts, processing of supplier invoices and claims. Assist Cash Controller. Electronic and cheque payments. Assist Accountant at month end. General office and administrative duties.
Requirements
Financial Qualification with experience is a prerequisite. Well-spoken in English and good communication skills
Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Self-motivated, team player and be able to work independently
Computer and MS Office literacy an essential requirement Prepared to work extra hours if needed
Knowledge of imports and forex cover
Be strong on all financial aspects -
creditors/debtors/cashbook
