HOUSE PARENTS
We are looking for house parents who will take the responsibility of caring for children staying at our place of shelter.
General responsibilities for each house parent is briefly outlined below:
House Father:
• Driving (valid driver's licence needed) • Provide transportation to mothers and children to and from court, hospital/Pick ups for centre and jumble shop/ collections and drop offs • Transport children safely to and from school/ Driver for Administrator when needed • General maintenance • General care & hygiene of the children/ Provide Christian support • Supervise homework/ other school projects/ Fulfillment of fatherly role within lives of children.
House Mother:
• House Cleaning/ General care & hygiene of children • Meal preparations & supervision/ Provision of Referral for adequate healthcare/ Arranging recreational activities/ Provide Christian Support • Supervise homework/ other school projects/ Fulfillment of motherly role within lives of children.
House parents will be required to live on site and be available at any time for children.
NIGHT SUPERVISOR
We are looking for a mature Christian female who feels a calling to work amongst children who have been subjected to abuse or vulnerable situations. Her responsibilities include:
• Meal Supervision/ Homework Supervision/ Bedtime Supervision
• Provide supervision throughout the night, ensuring that children are safe in their rooms
• She will be required to work in the evenings from 19:00 and complete her shift at 7am.
VOLUNTEER
We are also looking for child care volunteers who are willing to give their services to the centre by looking after the children during the day.
