Franschhoek
Responsibilities include:
• The gathering of news and accurate information about events in and around Franschhoek;
• Writing balanced news reports and articles about local events in English and Afrikaans;
• Taking photographs;
• Building a network of contacts in the community of Franschhoek.
• Live in Franschhoek
The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in the journalistic environment or a relevant tertiary qualification. A candidate must have the ability to work independently under pressure and sometimes irregular hours. Language, computer and photographic skills, as well as a driver’s licence and own transport are compulsory. An interest in and knowledge of general town affairs will act as a recommendation.
Candidates who are interested in full-time or part-time employment may apply.
The company offers a market related, total cost to company remuneration package.
