MUSEUM TECHNICIAN
Franschhoek Motor Museum, situated
15km outside Franschhoek is looking for
a young person with a passion for
historic transport.

Job Description
• Repair and maintain museum collection (automobiles, motorcycles and bicycles)
• Assist the curator with all internal restoration projects
• Keep detailed job cards

Qualifications
• Certificate or qualification from trade school/completed an apprenticeship within the motor industry
• Previous experience in the motor trade
• Must have a valid driver’s licence with PDP for Code EC1
• Must be computer literate
• The candidate must be able to work on both diesel and petrol engines and have a sound knowledge of historic transport.
