SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. Grade 12 plus 8 subjects of a Commerce Degree or Diploma. Computer Literacy (Venus, Quattro, Word Perfect, Excel). Code EB driver's licence. Accuracy and ability to give attention to detail. Conflict handling skills. Management and Supervisory skills. 3 Years’ experience in a local government environment

2. N5 Electrical (Heavy Current). Valid Code EB Driver’s licence. Computer literacy( WordPerfect, Quattro Pro/ Excel, Arc View, Auto CAD, Venus). Fluent in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. 1 Year relevant experience.

SALARY SCALE:
1. R157 188 - R169 380 (Post level 06)
2. R142 392 - R153 372 (Post level 07)
BASIC SALARY SCALES PER ANNUM

Note: Proof of Qualifications is a requirement for selection.
The requirements of the Employment Equity Act will be considered for this position, but will not be the only criteria applied.

A services bonus equal to one month's salary is payable and normal fringe benefits related to Local Authorities including a housing allowance.

Note: Canvassing with Councillors or any members of the Appointments Committee is not permitted and will result in automatic disqualification.

Placement of candidates for work can be done in any area of Drakenstein. This area covers Simondium, Paarl, Wellington, Gouda, Hermon and Saron.
