THE price of taxi fares will increase on 11 April in Paarl/Mbekweni area. The fare for local routes goes up from R6 to R7, while the fare for long distance (single) rises to R400, according to Pata.
In Paarl East, passengers will pay R6 to Huguenot Station and R7 to Lady Grey Street, Paarl Town Hall and Klein Parys. The fare to the Paarl East Hospital is R15.
