Paarl rocks for Rotarians

ROTARIANS from District 9350, an area spanning Angola, Namibia and much of the Cape, were taking part, until Sunday, in their annual district conference. Host club Paarl, said the purpose of the conference was to advance the object of Rotary through fellowship, inspirational addresses and the discussion of matters of importance to Rotary Clubs and Rotary International. The conference showcased Rotary programmes and successful district and club activities. For many Rotarians, the presentations on youth exchange, group study exchange and ambassadorial scholarships, were a particularly inspirational endorsement of the power of Rotary. Other youth arms of Rotary (Rotaract and Interact) were also represented at the Conference. The conference was a celebration to inspire Rotarians and an opportunity for them to enjoy fellowship.
