THE public of Paarl is invited to attend a Community Police Forum (CPF) meeting which will be held at Huis Pêrelvallei in Hospital Street on Wednesday 28 May at 18:00.

CPF’s came into being to establish more effective policing by encouraging the community to become involved in decisions which are made to combat crime, as well as social problems in their areas.

These forums consist of organisations and institutions such as schools, ratepayers’ associations, civic organisations, businesses and religious institutions, working in partnership with the local police.

Everybody is encouraged to attend these meetings.

In becoming involved you can assist the police in the battle against crime.
