DRAKENSTEIN Municipality is currently busy resurfacing a number of the roads where surfaces have deteriorated and has warned that motorists may experience delays.
Road works in the Paarl Main Street will be completed by the end of this week. From 19 to 27 May, Jan van Riebeeck Drive (between Mont Vue and Klein Drakenstein Road) will be partially closed for road works. In Wellington, Berg-en-Dal Street and the northern section of Genl Hertzog Boulevard will be partially closed for resurfacing from 25 May to 3 June. This resurfacing should ensure improved surfaces for the next ten to fifteen years.
