Now her story is told in ‘Married to the Struggle, her life story. The book is edited by Yusuf Patel and Philip Hirschsohn.
‘Nana’ Liz Abrahams is an icon of the struggle for labour, women’s and political rights in South Africa. Her illustrious career as an activist has stretched over more than sixty years and the book’s release coincided with her 80th birthday.
The book is published by the University of the Western Cape in association with Diana Ferrus Publishers and sells for R30.
