Twin on the run

A SEVENTEEN-YEAR-OLD student who was stabbed at New Orleans Secondary School in August, is on the run after a young girl was shot in the leg on Saturday.
The grade 10 learner from Mbekweni was stabbed in the chest by a fellow learner at the school after he was presumably intimidated by a group of boys. The blade narrowly missed his heart.
A fifteen-year-old learner of SmartieTown was arrested in connection with the incident.
On Saturday evening, in what is presumed to be a revenge attack, the victim and his twin brother followed the fifteen-year-old suspect to Klein Bongi’s Tavern in Groenheuwel.
One of the twins drew a firearm and it is alleged that they wanted to shoot the suspect, but that a young girl got in the way and was shot in the leg.
The twins fled the scene and one of them was arrested in Mbekweni on Tuesday, but his brother is still at large.
